12 Days of Mindfulness and SAMH

I figured Christmas 2020 was going to be a bit different. I usually take a break from teaching over the holidays, but I thought what can I do to help what might be a tricky time for many?

I signed up to SAMH mental health charter last year, commiting to make my classes more inclusive, support mental health and do what I could to support my local community. So I thought with many of us adapting to technology and using Zoom I could offer a free mindfulness course over the 12 days of Christmas. Just 20 mins a day to connect with yourself and with others, a little check in with like minded folk. We started 11am on Boxing Day, and I've been delighted that so many have joined the first two sessions. People can come to all of the sessions, or just drop in when they remember to. So it's not too late to join!

I'll be offering simple breathing, mindfulness and meditation techniques that you can do anywhere without the need of any special equipment. Just a phone or tablet and the free Zoom app. All easily bookable on my website:
