Yoga Therapy for the Mind - Autumn
An evidence-based 8-week course to help manage stress, anxiety and/or depression.
Service Description
This course has been developed by The Minded Instiute in London, by it's founded Heather Mason - a leader in the field of yoga therapy for mental health. The course combines specific yoga therapy techniques with research from the fields of psychotherapy and neuroscience to: * Enhance the functioning of the nervous system to improve well-being * Improve self-awareness through the practice of mindfulness * Promote the support of others by eliminating habitual patterns of thought and behaviour Both mindfulness and therapeutic yoga are well known to help improve stress, anxiety and depression, this 8-week yoga therapy course will help you access these profound healing modalities. All sessions are taught in a compassionate and safe setting by a qualifed Yoga Therapist. The full course cost is £250 (which includes 8 two hour sessions, take-home materials and small group support) and can be paid in 3 instalments. £50 deposit on booking and two further payments of £100 before the start of the course. I also offer a "pay what you can" option for this course as I believe in making in accessible to as many as possible due to it's profound effect on mental health and wellbeing. The sessions will be on Saturday mornings apart from the 9th of November, where this will be held on Sunday 10th instead due to a course I have to attend on the Saturday.
