Service Description
I’m delighted to welcome Ingrid to The Yoga Social Yurt to hold this beautiful workshop. Grief touches us all. It can arrive through loss, change, or the quiet ache of things left unspoken. In this grief circle, we come together in a safe and supportive space to share, listen, and gently explore the inner journey of healing. Drawing on the wisdom of yoga philosophy and meditation, we will look at how our thoughts, speech and actions shape our experience of suffering and peace. Together, we will practise simple techniques to quiet the mind, connect with the body and breath, and allow space for compassion to arise—both for ourselves and for others. This is not about fixing or rushing grief, but about learning to sit with it, honour it, and recognise the light of love that is always present beneath the pain. Through reflection and meditation, we begin to soften habits of blame, anger or loneliness, and nurture qualities of kindness, patience and trust. The grief circle is open to anyone who wishes to explore their grief in community, whether recent or long held. You are welcome just as you are. No experience of yoga or meditation is needed. What to expect: • A gentle, welcoming circle of support • Guided meditation and breathing practices • Time for personal reflection and optional sharing • Practical tools for finding peace within daily life Together, we will create space for healing, and begin to transform sorrow into deeper connection—with ourselves, with others, and with the quiet strength of the heart.
