Service Description

The breath is fascinating and can be extremely powerful in effecting our energy, mind and health. There are lots of different and sometimes quite extreme techniques out there in the media so I've created this trauma informed and yoga therapy based workshop to explore the breath in a safe and inclusive space. We will discover more about the physiology of breathing, it's mood and energy effecting abilities and different techniques to connect more deeply with our breath to influence our day to day experience. The breath is also a gateway to the experience of meditation and we will explore some simple techniques to bring calm to our body & mind. This workshop brings together science, yogic philosophy and the latest medical research to support those living with respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD and Long Covid. It is suitable for anyone interested in supporting their wellbeing and all are welcome. Do get in touch if you would like to know more before signing up.
