An Intro to Yoga Therapy for the Mind

Service Description

*This is 1.5 hour session to give you a feel for the full 8-week Yoga Therapy for the Mind Course. This is an opportunity to ask questions and explore some of the science and techniques that we will be delving into on the full course. Those that attend will have an opportunity to sign up for the 8 week course on the day and recieve a 20% discount.* This course has been developed by The Minded Instiute in London, by it's founded Heather Mason - a leader in the field of yoga therapy for mental health. The course combines specific yoga therapy techniques with research from the fields of psychotherapy and neuroscience to: * Enhance the functioning of the nervous system to improve well-being * Improve self-awareness through the practice of mindfulness * Promote the support of others by eliminating habitual patterns of thought and behaviour Both mindfulness and therapeutic yoga are well known to help improve stress, anxiety and depression, this 8-week yoga therapy course will help you access these profound healing properties. All sessions are taught in a compassionate and safe setting by a qualifed Yoga Therapist. The full course cost is £250 (which includes 8 two hour sessions, take-home materials and small group support) and can be paid in 3 instalments. £50 deposit on booking and two further payments of £100 before the start of the course.
